It’s a collection of poems that focus on different aspects of dealing with a surprise emotion. LOVE. In this case the poet realized that long ago he had met a woman who he had fallen in love with, and now maybe it’s too late to do something about it. The aspects are love, anger, grief, solitude, one-sided feelings, questioning one’s self-worth, having an inner dialogue with yourself about the myriads of fluctuating emotions that this woman’s presence has had on the poet. Occasionally the poet talks about what he’d like to tell her, or maybe not. Wondering if he will ever get a chance to see them again. Will he? It’s one man’s journey on his boat sailing through the mighty tides of cosmic waters that transform his very existence into something totally new.
