Most of the recipes in this book are inspired by my father’s childhood and teenage years in the Northeast, a region known for its unique and vibrant flavours. As he grew older, he traveled across many states of India, exploring a rich variety of cuisines and collecting stories of the diverse food cultures he encountered. Through this book, I’m honoured to share the dishes that shaped my culinary journey and passing them on to you with the same love and passion that he always did.
