Description
“An orange in a basket of apples. A marigold in a bouquet of roses. Wanted, but not as much.” — excerpt from story 21: The Odd One Out
The Melancholic Tea-Party is a collection of short stories for the days when you open your eyes to a feeling you can’t describe, something that has you on the low. The thematic concerns of the collection range from sorrow, loss and individual suffering. Each story is written to the lens of human nature at its not-so-happy moments. Just as the title suggests, this is a melancholic study of melancholic lives.
