This book’s content was written to be a script and while you read, you can feel that it doesn’t fall completely in the category of a Novel but has a more interesting structure which is away from traditional norms and that’s what Modern Literature is. The author has tried to keep the language as simple as it was possible with simple narration. The story is based on a Indian-American soldier falls in love with an Afghan lady and leaves for USA due to her conservative beliefs. Even after being happily married and with a heavy heart, he sets out for a mission to save his old love during Taliban takeover to justify his earlier actions. This story deals with the themes of Love, superstition, religion, insecurity, inner peace and role of India during migration crisis in Afghanistan.
