‘By Darkest Light’ is a collection of poems that were inspired by the author’s personal life and imagination. The author explores her journey through mental illness and loss, discovers her queer identity and reminisces about what the past holds. This anthology covers several aspects of life on earth in five sections. The first has the theme of storytelling, from imaginary scenarios to true incidents that actually happened. The second section is dedicated to nine young women who shaped the author’s life. The third contains secrets that have always been difficult to say out loud. The fourth holds in it sorrow and grief, while the fifth carries the various kinds of love out there in the world.
