A book of pocket-sized bearings is a collection of poems about home, belonging, love, lovelessness and a dig into one’s own self to understand the world. The poems reflect upon life as it is, or, life as it seems, from the perspective of a 23-year-old woman, writing as if it’s a primal instinct. The book takes inspiration from poets like Kamala Das, Dilip Chitre and Arun Kolatkar, becoming and unbecoming in sub-urban corners.

Every poem is different from the other. Each picks up a different human emotion and toys with it. Lined with the poet’s own struggle with her maturing into a world of uncertainty, the book will make you want to read more until you’re on the last page, until you start the book again.
